The rental house had no cooling. The blower motor had failed on an aging unit, and a new system was installed the very next day so the tenant was not left without air.

Before
No air conditioning at a rental house. The blower motor had failed, and the unit itself was pretty old.
After
A new unit was installed the very next day, and the tenant was back up and running without a long stretch without cooling.
The call
A rental house in Perry was without air conditioning. For a property with a tenant, that is not a problem you can leave open for days.
What we found
The diagnosis pointed to a bad blower motor. The unit was also pretty old, so a repair alone was not the only option worth considering.
We photographed the old equipment, including the model and serial markings inside the cabinet, so the details were clear when pricing the work.
Repair or replace
We sent pricing to try and fix the issues that were going on, and we also sent pricing to replace the unit. That way the customer could see both paths side by side instead of hearing only one recommendation.
The outcome
The customer chose replacement. We installed a new unit the very next day so the tenant was not left without air for an extended period of time.
A look inside the old unit before it was replaced. The old unit serial number, photographed during the visit. The new package unit installed the day after the estimate.
The customer called our install team absolute legends, praised how thoroughly the new unit and warranty were explained, and said they would recommend us to anyone with air conditioning needs.
A bad blower motor on an aging rental system does not always mean one answer. Here is how we laid out repair and replacement so cooling could return the next day.
